You look like a monkey, and smell like one too!

So today we ventured out to my in-laws for Kenzie's 6th birthday party and I was kind of worried about going because I have this weird cold and Brandie, Wes and the kids are leaving the end of this week to go to Disneyworld and I didn't want to give anyone else my cold. Thankfully I did not have to worry, although it's not exactly a good thing. I was one of the majority of us sickies, including the poor birthday girl who seems to have it the worst. She has been running a fever for the past 4 days or so and is currently on her second antibiotic. The poor kid didn't even want any of her birthday presents! It was probably the tamest family birthday party of theirs that I have witnessed, but it was still hilarious.

Kel hasn't gotten much sleep the past few days and proceeded to fall asleep on the couch at the beginning of present opening and we all had fun at his expense. Baron dropped Reese's Pieces into his ear and we were trying to have the dogs eat them out of his ear. We also had the dogs using his as a bed and all piling on top of him, Morgan licking his forehead, and Morgan sticking her smelly feet in his face to wake him up.... that's all that seemed to work. Two hours later we finally managed to rouse him and had almost as much fun telling him all that we did to him. Now I am going to go find more NyQuil and attempt to finally get some sleep.
