What is this feeling, so sudden and new? ~Wicked
Umm... wow! Things are quite interesting as of late. I am ecstatic that spring seems to be peeking out from behind the clouds... at least for today.
Things have been quite interesting lately. The age old problem is still rearing it's ugly head in the form of stupid nuances that I am positive are all set there to try my patience. I do like to think that I have come to terms with it all though... well at least for the most part. I know what needs to be done it is just a matter of doing it.
As for the day to day stuff... I have managed to catch this particularly nasty flu bug that everybody at work seems to be passing back and forth. Yesterday at work I was just miserable so I left work early as I was of no use to anybody. I came home and put on comfy clothes! Then I got the greatest present a girl could ask for: an unexpected phone call that totally makes one's day! I had a very special friend call from overseas to see how I was feeling because we wouldn't get any other chances to talk... Amazing how great the little things make you feel... After that, I passed out for approximately 21 hours straight... Woke up still feeling pretty craptastic. Also, I have not managed to do much today other than (successfully) navigate the staircase as the mere act of standing makes my head spin like a tilt-a-whirl... which for those of you that know what I am like on spinny rides.... watch out!
On the plus side, work is going great. I may have missed a meeting today about my new position... may not have. Never did hear when it was going to be after all. Either way, I started my new hours on Monday and I am ecstatic! I actually see some daylight now!
On the everyday-life front, things are interesting, of course! Never a dull moment in my life. (As much as I try, it just doesn't seem to happen for me... things will quiet down for a short period, then rear right back up again). Without looking or trying I stumbled across the aforementioned caller whom just makes my days sooo much brighter! It's insane!
On that euphoric note, I will once again return to the land of the horizontal as everything is once again returning to this unpleasant, spinning state, of which I am definitely not a fan.
