Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling...

I recently (finally) watched High Fidelity. One of my friends LOVES John Cusack and raves about everything he does. At least, if there anything of his she dislikes, I haven't heard about it. Anyways, what I have seen of his I have liked, I just have not gone actively seeking any of his movies. Then again, I rarely "actively seek" many movies at all. But back to my story, I stumbled across HF recently and loved it. I loved his speech about how it takes a lot of thought to make a good mix tape. It was something I had never really thought about before, but it is very true. Lately, the only music I listen to comes at me through my shuffle... I rarely go anywhere but the bathroom without it. I typically have it set on random so it plays music in whatever order it feels like, usually in some disjointed array. However today, in addition to being a good day, seemed to musically fall into place. It's as though Rob Gordon put the songs in the order than I needed to hear them! It was pure craziness! :)
