Well, I did it. Within the span of about a week and a half, managed to decide to move, pick a place, pack up all of our stuff (mainly by myself), move all of our stuff, and unpack all of our stuff (again, mainly by myself). Now, I am just tired. However now it is so relaxing to go home every night to a bigger place that is about 5 minutes closer to work, and have a normal front door- not a hallway with a million other doors (ok, so there were only 14 other soors besides ours, but that's still a lot)
Also, there have been various other reasons why the past week and a half have rocked! First and foremost- M-M's have just rocked my world. We bought a big bag of them last time we were are Target and the bag is primarily blue and orange ones (my favorites) and there have only been 3 brown ones (I refuse to eat the brown ones for some reason... it's ok- I know I'm weird). Keeping up with my good mood, everything is going well to unpack. Pretty much all we have left is organizing the closet and decorating. Oh, and buying curtains! I can't wait to buy curtains!
Now it all comes down to the little things that we would like to get, but aren't totally necessary. Like a shoe rack... and some new shoes to go on that shoe rack.... and a new backpack because I will need a new one if I have new shoes (and I just want a new bag/purse).... and then we might as well throw some new clothes in there too because I haven't bought any clothes in forever.... or at least since Mom and I went shopping (Dad will be so proud.... that's been a long time).
This is going to be a busy weekend though.... there is a free show at Borders in AA that I may want to go to.... then the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game (it pays to have friends with season tickets). Then at some point in there is the possibility of bed shopping (which will also mean bedding shopping since there will be the jump from a full to either a queen or king). After and around all that- decorating. Our place looks rather sparse at the moment, and I need to get my butt in gear for taco night, even though it is a month away!
