I'm gonna sit back and try to enjoy the ride....

Today has been a very productive (and long) day. I had nursery at church this morning after getting Scott to work at the ripe ole time of 5am. I then did a rush job at my parents house for lunch then headed out to see Scott when he got off work. He decided to venture with me as I went out to Marleen's for a quilting session. We decided to make a quilt for a co-worker that is battling cancer. I got to spend a few hours cutting strips for log cabin quilt squares, and ventured home with more strips/squares for more squares. Then we got home (and I am craving CHAI!!!!!) and re-arranged the bedroom and I was convinced it must be at least 9 pm only to find out that it was 6:30, so I crashed on the couch with the laptop and some ice cream so I could read my Reader and update this and then I intend on trying to find more options as to what to make for Christmas dinner.

As for day to day stuff, the behemoth has been acting slightly odd lately as he has now decided to be scared of leaves. How exactly a Saint Bernard is scared of something as simple and small as a leaf is still way beyond me...

Regards to a topic that I don't bring up much in day-to-day conversation: Religion. Our long-time pastor announced this morning that he intends on retiring, which will be quite odd. This did make me think about some things that I have pushed aside a lot in terms of finding a church that's closer to home for when I actually go. I have struggled with the idea of finding a closer church, yet can't seem to find one I like as they are all either way too stuffy or seem like they are mainly there for entertainment purposes. I suppose that now is as good a time as any to look for a different church, although I am quite close with everybody that goes to that church... Oh the many decisions related to being an adult...

I am now going to change into jammies and curl up with a book and wait for my shows to come on....
