My day... blah blah blah. It snowed, then the wind blew it all away, then it snowed then it must have melted, now it is snowing and sticking. Granted the sidewalks are still clear, but the news was talking of multiple accidents and they are estimating it to be a bad commute tomorrow morning. Boy am I glad I don't have a 45 minute drive each way anymore. I don't miss that part at all.
As for the rest of my day, I cleaned the kitchen. Whoo-hoo. That is the only thing on my to-do list that actually managed to get crossed off, but that is ok. Instead I relaxed and watched Failure to Launch. Now I am not a SJP fan by any means, but I adore Zooey Deschanel. She is definitely on my list!
As for the absolute highlight of my day (here's how simple to please I am): Bleach. I am a messy neat freak that loves to clean and adores her Scrubbing Bubbles, but hate still scrubbing the shower after I spray it on. I had not yet found anything that didn't require lots of scrubbing. I won't get into all the details, but I decided to try bleach. I put an ounce of bleach in a spray bottle then added about 8 ounces of water and I will just spray it in the shower every 2-3 days. It takes an extra 30 seconds after I get out of the shower, and yet I have not needed to clean the shower in a month and a bottle of bleach is a hell of a lot cheaper than anything else I could get to use in the shower. I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. (Granted, I spray it on after I take my shower so it gets a good 12 hours or so of uninterrupted time to do it's thing... I realize this is not an option for some folks.
