Being awake at the ass-crack of dawn this morning, I realized that if I wait til the end of the day to write my entries, it gets a hell of a lot harder to remember what all I wanted to babble about so I am working on improving that....
Last night I managed to pass out and did not suffocate from dog farts. Also, I was not awakened by the dog puking right next to my side of the bed a la yesterday morning. Let me tell you, dog puke isn't a fun thing anyway, but when you are awakened from it a foot away from your head at 6:30 on a Sunday morning, it becomes even less so.
Then after dropping off Scott at work this morning, I came back home before heading out to a class for work. I decided to be very productive and was putting away laundry and picking up the house. At the rousing time of 6:30 I got a call from my friend Pat who was telling me that he broke his leg. I asked him when and how and he said "just now... I got hit by a car". He called as a distraction, but how am I not supposed to wonder and inquire as to his injuries...
As for my work class, Sara and I both had to attend a class on how to input phone notes into our medical records web browser. The two hour class could have effectively been summed up into about 25 minutes and we would not have missed anything. To top it off, our instructor would yell at people for working ahead. Her only redeeming quality is that she looks just like a Fraggle from Fraggle Rock and was lucky to clock in at a whopping 4'6".
After dinner, Scott and I caved in and put up our Christmas tree. I am now sitting here typing just by the Christmas tree lights. This is always one of my favorite times of year for the very reason of all the pretty decorations. It finally snowed a little bit this past weekend. As of this morning, there was actually some accumulated in the grass and on the cars. It looked so pretty.
I also think that listening to upbeat music is a great way to start you day. Party Like a Rockstar is now my favorite song to start my workday. It just puts me in the right frame of mind ;)
Ok.... gonna go oogle the pretty lights on the Christmas tree.... maybe pics tomorrow.
