Ok, since I was wide awake at 8 am this morning due to Scott closing the bedroom door with Sebastian on the OUTSIDE of it, Bug decided he was gonna scratch at the door and hit it with his nose and breathe heavily to let me know that he was ready to play. Me.... not so much. Gotta love the dog waking you up the lone day I seem to get to sleep in for, oh, who knows how long. Then after washing my face and getting dressed, the dog went to sleep. I have basically been puttering around pretending to do stuff but finally caved in and am making up for my last two days of non-posts.
Thursday at work was an awesome day that I completed my referrals relatively early (See 11:30 instead of 4:20) so I was able to play catch-up on my many other projects. It felt so good! Then yesterday I worked hard to ensure that the projects don't pile up on me so much and instead didn't even start on my referrals until 1:30 when I was trying to leave at 3:00. My job must sound incredibly boring...
Then to top it off I was exhausted when I got out of bed yesterday morning with a headache that managed to progressively worsen throughout the day. Why does that always seem to happen when I actually have plans. I was invited to a work dinner that was last night. (Not sure how I got lumped in, but I'm not complaining...) Had some yummy salmon and even yummier creme brulee... got company swag that we can't actually take to work (no vendor gifts, blah blah blah...)... got a cool cookbook from the restaurant. Well worth actually moving off the couch. Promptly came home and passed out.
Headache is still threatening to rear it's ugly head. I feel like I'm fighting off a cold. Maybe I should go drink more orange juice....
Either way (almost cold or not) I am attempting to be productive this weekend. Have already read one of my library books.... still have about 6 projects I want to tackle and I really want to hit up the Detroit Urban Craft Fair later on this afternoon. I really hope I can make it.
And I talked to S yesterday which totally rocked as it seems like we haven't talked in forever!
And for the person that got me hooked on Ill Scarlett, Pacino is totally you!
My head is doing weird things, so I shall venture to find some Advil and my rotary cutter to tackle the felt that needs to be cut
