You still have all of me.....

Hurray! My hair is FINALLY long enough for pony-tail land! Ok, so there are still minor wisps that need to be pinned up else they fly free around my face, but still I am ecstatic. I am now contemplating pushing my haircut appointment back a little further yet! Although I do really wants some angled bangs..... Maybe I will just push it back two weeks....

Now that I am done with the hair musings (ok, I take that back.... I have a growing urge to dye it again.... I'm thinking red, but shall try to behave!) There.... I really am done now. I promise! Work has been crazy-busy lately and should soon be returning to a more normal state, I hope. They have moved my clinic, as well as two others, to a different building. This move has come filled with the typical delays that any University-run project encounters. (Mainly that as of the time I left on Friday, we still didn't actually have an occupancy permit from the fire Marshall, and my co-workers and I have been here for a week. Due to the mass chaos this has created, we have no set location where we can see patients to do their teaching, so we have been scrambling. On top of that, even though we (should at least by now) finally have occupancy, we still won't be seeing patients in our new area until the fifth of September (happy early B-day, Jo!) so we have yet another week of scrambling around. The other two clinics are supposed to be moving in this coming Friday barring any unforeseen circumstances that always seem to pop up! Hurray for utter confusion!!!

As for everything else, life is great. Some minor problems have arisen that threaten to cause me to pull my hair out (and it's finally hit my shoulders! Ack! No hair pulling now!) A few weeks ago Pita decided that she didn't want to start any more, so I had to have a new starter put in.... that wasn't too bad. Then she decided that she doesn't like transmission fluid as she leaks it out faster than a pregnant girl can pee. Needless to say she currently cannot be driven unless I feel like adding a gallon of fluid every time I stop anywhere. As for Mia (the name I have now bestowed on the Rendezvous), well, I think she has been communicating with Pita a bit too much as we sleep. She had needed a brake job as they were going after Scott's nice long drive here. After getting those fixed (literally hours later) we noticed that there was a problem with the ball bearing, so we had the hub assembly fixed. There is also a nice loud grindingesque noise from the back end every time you take her into a tight turn of any kind (IE, parking in a parking space) due to the fact that now we need to replace/fix the rear differential. Don't ask me any more than that.... I'm just glad I could remember what it is that is wrong with her.

Otherwise this past Friday was my mom's birthday, so if you happen to run into her, be sure to wish her belated birthday wishes. Unfortunately I can babble no longer as there is a pile of crap on the table waiting for me to go through and organize it.... *sigh!*
